Is Anything Too Hard for The Lord?

Good afternoon Church:)

I trust that you are doing well today:) We miss you all and look forward to when we can meet face to face again!

In this series entitled” Faith that Pleases God”, we have looked at how faith is defined; we spoke about how we need to have faith in our Creator and last week we talked about the faith of Enoch in which he pleased God.

This Sunday, being Mother’s Day, we will look at a great woman of faith; Sarah the wife of Abraham.

Hebrews 11: 11 By faith Sarah herself also received strength to conceive seed, and she bore a child when she was past the age, because she judged Him faithful who had promised.

Sarah was 90 years of age when she finally conceived a child, carried the child to full term and then delivered the child. The Bible says that she received strength; the supernatural power of God in order to accomplish it. But her faith journey was not without its challenges. She experienced the challenge of being homeless as a directive from God; there was trouble that stemmed from a bad decision when they went down to Egypt during a famine; there were doubts that led to her giving her maid to Abraham to accomplish the task.

But in the end, she had to come face to face with the question: Is anything too hard for the Lord? Her answer? A resounding “NO”! And 9 months later she gave birth to a bouncing baby boy…at the age of 90.

Join us on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. via Livestream Only by going to https://www.firstbaptistsudbury.com and clicking on livestream; for “Is anything too hard for the Lord?”

Take heart and be blessed!
