What a beautiful week of weather we have enjoyed! I trust you have got out to get the last of this great fall weather.
And today on this Remembrance Day we think about those, with grateful hearts, who have paid the price for our freedom to live, work and most of all to worship our Lord and Savior Jesus.
We are continuing our series on “The Body of Christ” this week as we discuss “Your Gift makes Room for You “. We have been learning the practical application as to what the body of Christ does from Ephesians 4; this week we talk about “who” are the gifted ones in the body of Christ.
Ephesians 4: 7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift….11 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ…
Who is it that are the “gifted” ones in the body of Christ?…vs.7 says that “each one of us” who belong to Christ gets a gift; the gifts are given to each according to Christ’s measure; each one has a different gift; the gift is used to equip the saints for ministry; and the gift is used to build up the body of Christ.
