"When God Leads" Part 12

Good Morning Church,

I trust that you have all had a great week...I look forward to being with you on Sunday!

This Sunday I will be presenting the final part of this series with a message entitled: “When God Leads…He Becomes My Salvation.”

We are concluding our study of the children of Israel by looking at this Scripture: Exodus 14: 30 So the Lord saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore. 31 Thus Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done in Egypt; so the people feared the Lord, and believed the Lord and His servant Moses.

In our final lesson about how God leads I want to explore the phrase “so the Lord saved Israel.”

What does it mean to be “saved”? Is it a one-time action where we prayer the “sinner’s “prayer or raise our hand for salvation? Or is it a process that continues until the day we stand before Christ?

Isaiah says in ch.2:12 Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; ‘For Yah, the Lord, is my strength and song; He also has become my salvation.’ Join us on Sunday as we discuss how salvation implies that we are chosen, called, conformed (to the image of Christ) confirmed (in our righteousness) and commended by God.

Join us at church on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. or via clicking on our website: https://www.firstbaptistsudbury.com and going to “ livestream.”

Take heart and be blessed,

Pastor Kevin
