“Greater Sudbury Celebration”

This Sunday(07March) we will break away from our preaching series to join with other Sudbury churches via livestream to promote the upcoming “Greater Sudbury Celebration” with Will Graham being held this October 2021.

It is of upmost importance to remember that the call of our Christian lives is to further the Kingdom of God by any and every means. And just because it is a difficult season presently, it does not negate our responsibility to build the Kingdom.

In Acts 14, Paul and Barnabas were breaking new territory with the Gospel; it wasn’t an easy go. The Bible says that in the city of Iconium they were opposed by people and rulers of the city who made a violent attempt to abuse them and have them stoned. Eventually in the same chapter they went to the city of Lystra where Paul was dragged from the city and stoned and left for dead. The Bible says he got up and went back into the city. Following that, he and Barnabas left for Derbe.

Acts 14:21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city and made many disciples, they returned to Lystra, Iconium, and Antioch, 22strengthening the souls of the disciples, exhorting them to continue in the faith, and saying, “We must through many tribulations enter the kingdom of God.”

The call of the Great Commission is always before us. I trust that as you hear the message of Nick Hall this Sunday you will be inspired to do your part to fulfill God’s Kingdom call.

Join us at church on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. or go to https://www.firstbaptistsudbury.com and click on livestream; for the “Greater Sudbury Celebration Launch.”

Take heart and be blessed!
