"Faith that Makes You Brave"

Hello Church;

I trust that you are doing well...I look forward to being with you in person or via livestream this Sunday !

“Faith that Makes You Brave”– Sunday ,27 June

We are continuing our study of Hebrews 11; now we are concentrating on the heroes who had to overcome obstacles… they were stuck in a rut of survival but God caused them to thrive!

This week, we are studying the life of Gideon; a man who was merely surviving in a small town that was oppressed by the Midianites…but God called him to become valiant; that is courageous and strong!

The writer of Hebrews 11 puts it like this: 32 And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to tell of Gideon and Barak and Samson and Jephthah, also of David and Samuel and the prophets…..who, 34 quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became valiant in battle, turned to flight the armies of the aliens.

Israel had lapsed into a reckless spiritual life through disobedience; God had issued a rebuke through his prophet; but now God is about to reveal Himself to one man, Gideon in order to make him “Brave” through the Spirit so that he could be valiant in battle and confront the armies of the enemies.

God desires to do that for us; His church…to bring a revelation of Himself that will build in us confidence in Him, trust, faith and a brave heart!

1 Cor 16:13 Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Join us in person on Sunday at 10:00 a.m. or livestream by going to and clicking on livestream; for “Faith that Makes You Brave.”

(Social distancing and face covering requirements are in effect)

Take heart and be blessed!

Pastor Kevin
